今回は、ファイナンス分野で豊富な経験をお持ちで、現在は講演活動やCFOチーム・Finance Professionalへのコーチとしてもご活躍のNina Michels-Kimさんをお招きし、CPEセミナーを実施する運びとなりました。

| 概要 | This presentation explores the evolving role of finance leaders and the inherent challenges that hinder their ability to act as strategic business partners. Drawing on insights from benchmark studies and leadership education programs in Europe and the U.S., it emphasizes the importance of continuous development for CFOs and senior finance professionals. In addition to traditional financial expertise, finance leaders now require the “3C Power Skills” —Critical Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration—to remain competitive in a rapidly changing global and digital landscape. The session also highlights future trends shaping financial leadership beyond 2025, such as emerging technologies, sustainability (ESG), and people management. The presentation will conclude with a panel discussion, where panelists will share their experiences on the evolving nature of finance departments, the skill gaps they observe in their teams, and how implementing the “3C Power Skills” can enhance strategic decision-making and business partnerships. |

Nina Michels-Kim
USCMA, CSCA, is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, entrepreneurship, and strategic consulting. As a Certified Solution-Focused Coach, Nina specializes in coaching CFO teams and finance professionals on how to elevate their roles from traditional financial management to strategic leadership.
She began her career in Controlling and FP&A roles at global pharmaceutical companies such as Sandoz, Novartis, and Merck & Co., before establishing her own consulting firm. Her extensive international background—spanning the U.S., Europe, and Japan—and her experience working closely with C-level executives across diverse industries give her a unique perspective on cross-cultural business dynamics and global financial leadership.
A recognized thought leader and author of articles on strategic finance topics, Nina regularly speaks at conferences and events globally. She also serves on the FP&A Program Steering Committee for the Japan Association of CFOs. Fluent in both English and Japanese, Nina is passionate about combining her newly acquired coaching skills with her finance experience to help finance leaders thrive in today’s global digital economy.
